Get your residents stories told by Story Capsules
If you have heard about Story Capsules but don't have a Story Capsules team near you, we can help get your residents' stories told.
What will Story Capsules do?
A student volunteer will conduct a 20-60 minute interview with one of your residents. The interviewer will ask questions about your resident's life story. The interview will then be shared with the resident's loved ones.
What does the process look like?
- We will find a school in your area that is interested in the project.
- We will connect you with the director of that school's Story Capsule team
- Once you find residents who want to be interviewed, they will be connected with a student volunteer.
- The student can either come into the retirement home (preferred) and conduct the interview or do it over Zoom.
- The student gets the video edited and then we share it with the resident's loved ones.
